Andros had escaped both the blizzard and the weird mood on the island to the safety of his depressing spaceship. At first he'd just come to visit Zhane, but then the creepy droid baby he'd been complaining to his frozen friend about had started crying again, and he'd realized that not only was that really annoying, he really hoped it didn't have any kind of video recording capability. He didn't really want his teachers knowing exactly how much of his time he spent talking to a block of ice. So he had set up in the work bay to tinker with the droid baby's programming, which was turning out to be pretty fiddly. Honestly, if he could just figure out if it was recording video, he'd be happy, but turning off its voice would be a major bonus. DECA had expressed that she suspected this was not in the spirit of the assignment, and he'd just sighed, "Yes, DECA," and considered turning her voice off again (and he liked DECA). Instead, he'd decided to keep her busy by asking her to explain the Earth custom of 'Valentine's Day' to him while he worked. Her voice made the ship feel less empty, sometimes.
